The first step to cleaning grout with baking soda is to create an effective grout cleaner out of products you likely already have sitting around the house. All you will need for this project is a brush and homemade grout cleaner with dawn!

What You’ll Need for this DIY Grout Cleaner:
- Grout Cleaning Brush
- 3/4 cup Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Dish Soap
- 10 drops Lemon Essential Oils
What You’ll Do:
- Add all ingredients to a plastic bowl and stir well.
- Scoop the cleaner directly onto the grout and brush vigorously. (Scrub each section of grout several times before moving on to the next spot)
- After you have finished, wipe up the cleaner off your floor.
- Using a wet rag, go along the grout lines and scrub out any of the baking soda that attaches to the grout.
- Allow 1 full day for the grout to dry. If there are still some dark spots, repeat the process until all your grout is clean.
