Total Time21 minutes mins
Course: Entree
Cuisine: American
Servings: 4
Author: DIY Thrill

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 12 ounces frozen Lemonade Concentrate thawed
  • 1/2 cup Canola Oil
  • 2 tablespoons White Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients, except Chicken, in medium mixing bowl and stir well.
  • Add chicken and mixture to gallon ziplock freezer bag.
  • Place in the refrigerator to marinate for several hours or overnight, turning and flipping several times.
  • When you're ready to eat, remove Chicken from the bag, drain the marinade out, and get ready to grill!
  • Grill your pre-marinated Chicken on the grill outside {6-8 minutes on each side at 400 degrees, or until done}, or on a grill pan inside.
  • If you’re not ready to cook it yet… after adding the Chicken and marinade to the bag, place directly into the freezer for some pre-marinated chicken later! {just pull out of the freezer, and defrost in the fridge… letting all of the yummy flavors soak into the Chicken} prior to cooking. Enjoy!

I make a similar recipe for chicken during the summer. I just use a strong batch of homemade lemonade instead of the concentrate. 🙂 I don’t have the canola oil in mine, however, and I think that the addition of that would make the flavor on the grill better. Can’t wait to try your version!

This looks so yummy. Am going to try to find something similar to the Lemonade concentrate here in the UK so i can make it.
