Instant Pot Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

  • 3 pounds boneless Chicken Breast cut into 1" pieces {fresh or thawed}
  • 20 1/2 ounces Kikkoman Original Teriyaki Sauce Takumi Collection {1 bottle}
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 1 bunch Green Onions chopped
  • Optional: Sesame Seeds


  • Pour 1/2 cup of Sauce into measuring cup and set aside to save for later.
  • Mix remaining sauce + 1/3 cup water in a mixing bowl.
  • Place cut Chicken into Instant Pot, then pour sauce from mixing bowl over chicken.
  • Stir Sauce and Chicken together in Instant Pot.
  • Fasten lid on Instant Pot, select the "Meat/Stew" setting, then "High Pressure," and change cook time to 6 minutes.
  • Preheat will start 10 seconds after settings are selected.
  • Once Chicken is done, Quick Release the pressure before taking off the lid.
  • Remove the Chicken from Instant Pot and discard juices.
  • Serve your Chicken over white rice, and drizzle the 1/2 cup of remaining sauce over the rice and chicken. Enjoy!


*In addition to cook time, it will take approx. 15 minutes to initially reach pressure before cook time begins.
*If using a Crock Pot Pressure Cooker, select the "Beans/Chili" setting to manually override cook time and pressure settings.
