Ingredients
3cupsAll Purpose Flour
1teaspoonBaking Powder
1teaspoonBaking Soda
1 1/2cupsButtersoftened
1cuppacked Brown Sugar
1cupGranulated {White} Sugar
1 1/2teaspoonVanilla Extract
2Eggs
12ounces1 Bag Nestle Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, with 1/4 cup set aside
1/4cupM&M Mini's Baking Bits {or M&M's}
2tablespoonsColored Sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In three small dishes, set aside M&M's, Sprinkles, and 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips. {these will be used as a topping for the cookie after it comes out of the oven}
Mix together Flour, Salt, Baking Powder, and Baking Soda with large spoon until well combined in medium bowl.
Cream together Butter, Brown Sugar, White Sugar, and Vanilla Extract with mixer in large bowl. After well mixed, add eggs and continue mixing.
Gradually mix in flour mixture until dough is all well combined.
Stir in remaining Chocolate Chips with a large spoon.
Lightly grease 12" Cast Iron Skillet, then transfer dough into skillet, pressing down evenly with your hands or spatula.
Bake for 33-40 minutes, or until cookie puffs up and the edges are crispy. The middle will be slightly gooey, which is okay... it will continue to set and just adds to the deliciousness of it all.
When you remove from oven, immediately sprinkle with Colored Sprinkles, then gently press M&M minis + 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips evenly into the top of cookie.
Allow your cookie to cool in the Skillet for a few minutes, then get ready to dig in! You can slice it up like pie, serve straight from your skillet with big scoops of Ice Cream in the center, or wait to cut up pieces once it has cooled completely! Enjoy!
