Ingredients
1poundCarrots
2 3/4cupsWaterdivided
Instructions
Wash and peel your carrots, then slice into thin 1/4 in. pieces.
Place the carrots pieces in your Instant Pot and pour 1 1/2 cup water over the carrots.
Place the lid on your Instant Pot, and select Steam, High Pressure, and change cook time to 5 minutes.
Preheating will begin 10 seconds after settings are selected.
Once the carrots are done, do a quick release. {I like to do a gradual quick release to avoid any messy splatters... basically a quick release of steam, in a few gradual nudges}.
Remove softened Carrots from Instant Pot and add to Blender or Food Processor.
Pour 1 1/4 cup water over the carrots and blend or pulse {stirring as necessary}, until you reach a desired consistency.
Transfer Carrot Puree to OXO Tot baby Blocks, pop on lids, and store in Refrigerator or Freezer.
Pull out one at a time, and allow to come to room temperature prior to feeding baby.
Notes
It will take around 8 minutes for your Instant Pot to initially reach pressure before cooking begins. In the fridge, store up to 3 days.In the freezer, store up to 3 months.
